Service · Website redesign A website redesign that keeps what works and fixes what holds you back.

Every website redesign starts with an audit of your current site: which pages bring visits from Google, which bring inquiries, and what slows visitors down or confuses them. We keep the content and URLs that work, rebuild the structure, design and technical foundation, and set up a 301 redirect for every address that changes. We're a Belgrade team working with clients across Europe.

When it's time to redesign

Signs your website needs a redesign.

Websites rarely stop working overnight. More often, pages open slowly on a phone, visitors can't find the service they came for and leave without getting in touch, and your team avoids edits because every change shifts something.

01

A site on Wix or a page builder

The platform decides how much code each page loads and what you're allowed to change. When speed, structure or SEO settings are capped by the tool, the site has little room to improve.

02

Slow and awkward on mobile

Most visitors arrive on a phone, while older templates were designed for desktop. Slow loading and small text send people back to Google, and weak Core Web Vitals also affect SEO.

03

Visits without inquiries

People reach the site but don't know where to click. All the services sit on one page, the call to action appears only in the footer, and the form asks for too much.

04

A design the business has outgrown

The company has grown, changed its offer or its visual identity, but the site still shows how things were years ago. Visitors notice before they read a single sentence.

A redesign makes sense once you know what to keep. That's why we first measure what on the current site brings visits and inquiries, and only then sketch the new version.

Case: DIHT Stolarija

From Wix to custom WordPress, with a clear path to an inquiry.

DIHT Stolarija is a PVC joinery company with a solid reputation, and its Wix site didn't reflect it: weak UX and no clear path to an inquiry. In the redesign each service got its own page (sales, installation, servicing and repairs), an inquiry form and tap-to-call sit on every page, and the company now edits its own prices, gallery and references.

Scope of a redesign

Redesigning an existing website: what we change and what we keep.

Every redesign starts from the state of the current site, so the scope varies from project to project. In practice it comes down to four areas: the SEO and URLs to preserve, the platform, the structure and path to an inquiry, and how the site works on a phone.

SEO

Preserving your search visibility

Before any design work, we export every existing URL and check in Search Console which pages bring traffic, then map each changed address to its new page with a 301 redirect. After launch we submit the new sitemap and monitor indexing, 404 errors and rankings in Search Console.

What a website redesign includes.

The same team runs the redesign from audit to post-launch monitoring. Scope, timeline and price are set in a fixed quote before work starts.

01

Audit of the current site

A review of content, speed, mobile display, SEO settings and the path to an inquiry, with a list of what stays and what changes.

02

URL map and 301 redirects

A table of every existing address with its new destination. We test the redirects before go-live.

03

New structure and design

Wireframes of key pages, then a visual language aligned with your brand and components your team can reuse for new pages.

04

Content migration and build

A bespoke theme or Next.js build, migrated and tidied content, images optimised for fast loading and an admin for your team.

05

Launch and monitoring

Go-live, the new sitemap in Search Console, connected analytics and monitoring of indexing and errors after launch.

How a website redesign runs.

Each phase ends with material you review and approve. Your current site keeps running as normal until the new version is ready to switch over.

Phase 01

Audit and URL map

We analyse the current site, Search Console and analytics, noting which pages bring visits and inquiries. We list every URL and decide what stays, what merges and what redirects.

Phase 02

Structure and design

From the audit we build a new sitemap and wireframes, then the final design of key pages. We design for the phone first, then for larger screens.

Phase 03

Build and content migration

We build the site on a test address hidden from Google, migrate the content and set up the 301 redirects. We test forms, speed and display on phone, tablet and desktop.

Phase 04

Launch and monitoring

We point the domain to the new site, submit the sitemap in Search Console and check that every old address lands in the right place. Then we monitor indexing, 404 errors and rankings, and fix anything that comes up.

Ask a question→

What does a website redesign include?

A website redesign includes an audit of your current site, a URL map with 301 redirects, a new structure and design, a build on a bespoke theme or in Next.js, content migration and a launch monitored in Search Console. We keep the content, addresses and elements that bring visits and inquiries, and change whatever slows the site down or confuses visitors. If the site runs on Wix or a page builder, the redesign also moves it to a new technical foundation. The exact scope is set out in a fixed quote before work starts.

Will I lose my Google rankings after a redesign?

Rankings are most often lost when addresses change without a plan, so we run every redesign to keep that risk as low as possible. Before work starts we export every existing URL and check in Search Console which pages bring traffic. Each changed address gets a 301 redirect to the matching new page, content that ranks is kept, and titles and meta descriptions carry over. After launch we submit the new sitemap and monitor indexing and errors. Short-term fluctuation in the first weeks is normal, and nobody can guarantee rankings.

Can you move my site from Wix to WordPress?

Yes, moving from Wix to custom WordPress is one of the most common reasons for a redesign. Wix doesn't export a whole site in a form another platform can import, so we transfer and tidy the text, images and structure while building the new theme. Some addresses usually change in the move, which makes the URL map with 301 redirects especially important. DIHT Stolarija moved from Wix this way and got a custom WordPress theme with no page builder, four service pages and an admin where it edits its own prices, gallery and references.

When is a redesign better than a completely new website?

A redesign is the right choice when your current site holds value worth keeping: content that ranks, addresses with traffic, a recognisable brand. A completely new site makes sense when the offer itself is changing or there's no content worth moving. In practice the line is thin, because our redesigns often include a new technical foundation, a new theme and a new structure. The difference is that we start from data about the existing site. A free written review of your site helps you make the decision on facts.

How long does a website redesign take, and how is the price set?

Redesigning a business website usually takes three to six weeks, longer when there's a lot of content to migrate or several languages. The price depends on the number of pages and content types, the platform you're moving from and how much content needs reworking. After a free 30-minute call or a written review of your site, we send a fixed quote with scope, timeline and price. Your current site keeps running until the new version is ready, so inquiries keep coming in throughout the redesign.
